HOW IT WORKS
After registration and being matched with a buddy classroom, teachers will determine how best to exchange letters. Classrooms can send letters at the same time or teachers will decide which classroom will send first. The Purple Letter Project will help guide the process from the beginning.
Teachers will also determine the frequency of exchanges. Some exchanges can happen twice a month, while others may opt for once a month or less. The amount of letters sent should fit comfortably with both classrooms' schedules and curriculum plans.

ABOUT THE LETTERS
You will be receiving a list of suggested themes in your Welcome Kit. Participating teachers should decide amongst themselves which ones could be most relevant to their respective classrooms.
We suggest that the themes be the same for each classroom so that students are discussing the same thing at the same time. If you decide to have themes that are not on the suggested list, we ask that you send them to us as we may add them to the suggested list, as well.
